culture, the turtle is a symbol of strength, endurance, patience, and longevity.
It also symbolizes the universe, with its shell representing the great dome of

These individually crafted earrings are part of The Coral
Studio's new jewelry collection. Made using fossil coral gathered in the British
Virgin Islands and then carefully prepared for use by ourselves, these new and carefully
hand worked earring designs feature especially chosen tropical subjects.
Hibiscus, Sand Dollars, Tree Frogs, Starfish and Turtles are now available.
They have a matte finish and are not painted. The color is added by hand during
the casting process. They have the same stony texture as the fossil coral that
was prepared for their crafting. Each one is hand made. For every
earring, first the relief is made and then, afterwards, the backing, tinted with
a different color, is added. Every earring is completely hand made. The
Coral Studio employs no mass production techniques, only skilled craftspeople.

All The Coral Studio's "Virgin Island Fossil Coral" line are made using Fossil Coral Rock from on land in the British Virgin Islands. Live coral lives underwater, and Fossil Coral can be found there too, but we use Fossil Coral exclusively gathered from on shore.
It's also absolutely unique because no one else in the world makes figurines this way.
