They are shot through with color as they are made. Every figurine made is unique. The technique of the artisan in laying in the colors, the batch of white fossil coral prepared for use, the temperature, the humidity, all affect how the colors will flow. No two will ever be exactly the same. All our pieces are all individually made. The Coral Studio employs no mass production techniques, only skilled craftsmen.
Iguana Facts
The scientific name is Iguana iguana. They are found mostly in Central and South America and the islands of the Caribbean. Most of the larger members of this family are arboreal (tree dwelling), though some are terrestrial, and there are even a few marine species. The common iguana can reach 6 feet in length. The iguana's diet is largely made up of tender leaves and fruits, but they will readily eat small birds, small lizards and mammals if available.
